Hope your week has been going well. We’ve got a bunch planned for this weekend, so listen up!
Tomorrow, Saturday September 7th starting at 10am is Laced Up. Help us sort shoes for children in need throughout the Philadelphia area by joining us at St. George’s Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, PA.
Afterwards, lunch will be provided and games will be played or just time to relax until 5pm for those who would like to stay for Vespers. You are welcome to leave at whatever time you need to, but we hope to see you there.
For those on Temple campus, we will be leaving for St. George’s at 9am from the Cecil B. Moore subway station. Look for us at the corner of Cecil and Broad!
Also, this Sunday is the start of our EPOC adventure! (Exploring Philadelphia’s Orthodox Churches) For the Nativity of the Theotokos this Sunday, we will be going to Fr. Nektarios’s home parish, St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby. Make sure you get enough sleep Saturday night, because we’ll be meeting at 7:30am at the Cecil B. Moore subway station for those coming down with us from Temple’s campus!
That’s it for this weekend; looking forward to seeing you all and we’ll talk to you soon!
